In The Flow of Time – June 18, 2025
This should be fun.
A bit distracted because of “other” stuff, but I am still getting a little writing done. Finishing up a chapter that involves Voudou mind control. Seriously. I’m stepping way outside my comfort zone, but given my nature, I believe in this only in so far as there is science underneath. To this end, Marie will waft a mind-altering incense smoke at her target.
It’s fiction, I don’t need the recipe. But I want it sorta realistic. Nightshades are good. So is opium. The rest of her power is symbols, reputation, and the target’s suggestibility.
But what’s that smell like?
